Trine Silje Nygård

Today’s turbulent world requires a new type of leadership that focuses on more than merely growth and profitability to succeed. Not only must today’s leaders possess potent powers for logic, reason, discernment and strategy. They must also be empathetic and intuitive to be able to handle rapidly changing challenges. High emotional intelligence, will increase its importance when choosing leaders going forward.

Before joining Backer Skeie, Trine Silje was employed at the Royal Norwegian Ministry of Finance and in several internationally recognized consulting firms as a commercial director, CEO, and partner.

Trine Silje holds a degree in economics from the Norwegian School of Economics in strategy and management, and she has a CEMS master’s degree in international economics (1994). She has postgraduate education in board competence from the BI Norwegian Business School, and she has completed an executive management program at Insead in strategy, management, and innovation (2017-18). Additionally, she has recent certifications in project, program, and change management.

Trine Silje is a native Norwegian speaker, speaks English fluently, and additionally speaks Spanish and French at a proficient level.

 

Fredrik Aaslestad

Fredrik has long operational experience in recruitment and leasing services – from needs assessment and service delivery to quality assurance and evaluation. He is well acquainted with best practices for efficient finance functions and is a valuable sparring partner for our clients.

He has previously held various operational roles, both as a hired consultant and as a direct employee. For example, he has held positions such as CFO, finance manager, accounting manager, head of internal control department, Head of Controlling, and business controller in large, complex organizations.

Fredrik has certifications in Prince2 project management and LEAN/continuous improvement. In addition to extensive operational experience, he is educated as a business economist and auditor, in addition to an Executive MBA in strategic management.

 

Alisdair Munro

Alisdair has a 30-year leadership/executive career spanning the air transport industry, telecommunications/ICT, consulting and industry lobbyism/politics. He has held positions as Managing/Country Director, Commercial Director and HR Director for amongst others, DHL, US West (one of the “Baby Bell” companies) and Tandberg as well as a Telenor spin-off (TMP) – and has lived and worked in Africa, Russia, Central Asia and the Nordics/ Baltics.
He has also been the Director of Knowledge & Technology for Virke – the Norwegian Industry Federation, where he was responsible for multiple industries – and he has also been a Partner at Heidrick & Struggles as well as Korn Ferry, both places heading the technology practice in Norway.

Munro holds an Honours degree in Business studies (“Siviløkonom”) from the University of Stirling, Scotland. He holds both Norwegian and British citizenship, and is fluent in Norwegian, English as well as German and speaks good Russian.

Hanne Elisabeth Hagen

Hanne has worked at an international recruitment and consultancy company and participated in several recruitment-, board-, and management evaluation-processes. She has extensive experience in recruiting, especially CEO, CFO, COO, and CHRO positions within retail, FMCG, banking and finance, telecoms, and private equity portfolio companies. In addition, Hanne has broad experience with organizational design, establishment, and implementation of HR strategy, change management, restructuring, and placement processes.

In recent years, she has been HR Director at Komplett and has previous experience from PwC as a consultant.

Hanne has a degree in economics from CERAM Business School (MSc) and Heriot-Watt University (BSc).

Bjørnar Skas

He has over 20 years of experience in management and organizational development as a line manager and consultant. Bjørnar has broad industry experience from the private and public sectors, including industry, professional services, retail, transport, public administration, banking, and insurance.

Previously Bjørnar led the consultancy unit of EY in Norway within management, organization, change, and HR. He has assisted several large Norwegian companies with significant change and organizational development processes and has been an adviser to many managers. With a Master Black Belt in Lean, he has supported several businesses in improving their core and support processes. He has acquired a deep functional insight into many industries and functions. Bjørnar also has extensive experience in Norwegian and international industry, has sat on the management team of 2 different global industrial companies, and helped build the management development program within production for a large Norwegian brand group.

Bjørnar is a civil engineer from NTNU and a business economist from BI Oslo.

Fredrik Jore

Close to leader clients through many years in Executive Search and recruitment, I’ve in recent years followed ESG as a megatrend closely. My ambition is to assist our clients in taking the step from big ambitions to operationalizing their strategy throught clear advice and recruitment of the best executives and board members.

Fredrik has 10 years of experience in Executive Search and recruitment. He started his career as a researcher and spent his first five years in two international Executive Search firms. The last years he’s been a partner and has contributed to develop a Oslo based search firm. He’s often helped clients with recruiting executives with new competence necessary to do major changes. He’s done a lot of assignments for medium sized and large corporations, and private equity owned companies, where he’s been recruiting a wide range of executives with P&L responsibility and strategic specialist functions.

Fredrik has a Bsc in marketing and a Msc in organizational psychology and leadership from BI Business School.

Are K. Skeie

Are has more than 15 years of experience with Executive Search and is, with this, one of the leading headhunters in Norway within the finance and real estate industry. He leads BackerSkeie’s team within the banking, finance, insurance and real estate industries. Additionally, Are serves clients in the public sector, construction and industry sectors with Executive Search, Assessments, and Management Assessments.

My greatest joy and motivation is to give clients the luxury problem of having to choose from several top-qualified candidates.

Are has worked as an advisor within risk management in a German investment bank, and with business development and as head of sales at Norsk-Tysk Handelskammer, with a special focus on advising Norwegian export businesses. He was also head of sales in a Norwegian high-tech media company with groundbreaking search technology.

Are received his Master of Business and Economics (Siviløkonom) from The University of Cologne in Germany. His mother tongue is Norwegian and he speaks English and German fluently.

Ann-Kristin Nyrønning

Ann-Kristin is head of our public sector and non-profit practice, in addition to assisting clients in the consumer, media and education sectors with Executive Search, Assessments, and Management Assessments. Ann-Kristin is today one of the most renowned headhunters in Norway within the public sector.

She has extensive experience from consulting and research and analysis, both nationally and internationally from Innovation Norway and CapGemini. She has led international projects and conducted analyses for Norwegian export businesses, and been Chief Advisor at NHO.

Ann-Kristin graduated from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH) as a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics and Business Administration (Siviløkonom).

Trygve Langholm

Trygve is our lead for the IT, telecom & media industries and also serves clients in the technology, professional services and industry sectors with Executive Search, Assessments, as well as with Management Assessments.

Trygve has more than 20 years of experience from sales and leadership positions in international IT and consulting companies. He has been a Partner at Accenture, CEO for Cambridge Technology Partners in Norway, and Division Director at EDB Business Partner. He is educated at, and has served for the military as a cryptographer. This experience makes Trygve one of our strongest consultants within information technology, cyber security and consulting.

Trygve received his Master of Business and Economics (Siviløkonom) from the Norwegian School of Economics (NHH).

Alexander Huun

Huun also supports clients in financial services, real estate, industrial production and private equity. He is a trusted advisor within executive search, management assessments and board review and recruiting.

Before joining BackerSkeie Alexander was an HR executive vice president at a large Norwegian bank. He has also been a member of management at a renowned consulting firm. He has also had managerial positions in mechanical industry and life sciences. All-in-all he has more than 20 years of experience managing people and projects and he has extensive international experience from working in 16 different countries.

Alexander holds an MBA from Edinburgh Business School, Heriot-Watt University.
