NBIM is in the process of setting up real estate as a separate asset class within the Norwegian Pension Fund Global. In order to build and manage its real estate investment operations, NBIM is seeking to strengthen its organisation with a highly qualified professional who will report to the Global Head of Investment Administration.

Manage and control all day to day operational real estate activities
-
Cooperate with relevant internal groups and act as central point of contact for external service providers on the following activities:
- administration of holding structures in various jurisdictions
- cash flow management (funding of acquisitions and capital calls and management of distributions)
- data quality and reporting
- accounting, tax and regulatory filings
- Cost control linked to operating expenses

Participate in the set up and on-boarding of new joint venture partners

Interact with the finance and accounting departments in joint venture partners on reporting and other operational issues

Drive initiatives to continuously improve NBIM’s real estate systems and processes in line with international best practice

Ensure that a comprehensive set of operational procedures is maintained

Project work relevant for the real estate area

Experience:
|
|
|
|
5-7 years of relevant experience within real estate and/or private equity operations / accounting.
|
|
|
|
Education:
|
|
|
|
University degree with strong academic records.
|
|
|
|
Skills:
|
|
|

Strong focus on achieving goals

Proacitive with high level of personal integrity
-
Excellent communication skills, fluency in English is required
